“Murray County Chamber’s Young Professionals is a great networking organization with a focus on professional development. It is our mission to offer a place for YPs to learn more about themselves as they grow in their careers and to connect them with other professionals as they learn the role they can play in the community and future of our workforce.”

– Rachel Ogle, President of Young Professionals

Business Advocacy Committee

Join business leaders who are passionate about government, policy, and politics. Within the BAC, we reserve seats for each of the various industries the chamber represents.

Committee members craft our legislative agenda every year and help to promote our priorities at every level of government.

They often attend meetings on behalf of the whole membership and add the personal touch to our work. The BAC meets once a month during state session, receives regular updates on key policy decisions, and provides timely feedback to staff to inform our advocacy efforts and ensure all our work is grounded in the needs of our members.
