Murray County Chamber of Commerce

I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Dinah Rowe and as President of the Chatsworth-Murray County Chamber of Commerce, I would like to use this letter to inform you of the priorities of the Chamber for 2008 as seen by the Board of Directors and myself.

To retain our current members and add member services.

To grow in both membership and support from the community.

To increase economic development by working closely with city, county and state personnel in order to attract new business and industry to Chatsworth and Murray County.

Continue to expand and implement Partners in Education program to insure its success.

Some of the advantages of being a Chamber member are as follows:

	Align your company with Murray County's most involved and successful business people - Chamber Members.
	Place your business cards in the Chamber's display area - there are many who request them personally and by mail.
	Receive the Chamber's monthly newsletter, The Chamber Report, full of news and information.
	Tackle the problems businesses face using the Chamber as your business advocate.
	Involve yourself in Chamber activities; involvement adds value to your membership and creates opportunities for you to market your company to other member.
	Communicate with other members at Chamber functions.
	Inform yourself and others about the Murray County area through our publications and reference materials.
	Promote your business' product or services at Chamber functions.
	Acknowledge your participation in the business community by displaying your Chamber Membership sticker.
	Take part in building a stronger Chamber which in turn makes a stronger community.
	Educate your employees on the purpose of the Chatsworth-Murray County Chamber of Commerce and the ways it serves the area and its businesses.
	Promote stronger alliances and partnerships with regional and state agencies.
	Promote strategic tourism development with emphasis on preserving significant historic sites.

In closing, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter and to tell you I look forward to serving you as a Chamber Member and to listening to your views on how to successfully grow our Chamber and community.
