Chamber Delegates have the opportunity to serve the Chamber while enhancing leadership and sales skills and networking. 

As a member of this dynamic group of Chamber volunteers you will function as goodwill representatives at Chamber events including monthly luncheons, ribbon cuttings, open houses and other designated functions. Delegates visit Chamber members to show they are appreciated, keep them aware of Chamber functions and encourage them to stay involved in Chamber activities throughout the year. Delegates serve as a vital link between the Chamber staff and the membership.

2010 Delegate of the Year

David Konter

David Konter, I live in Calhoun, GA. I joined the team Santek Environmental/Waste Services of Georgia in March 2004 as an outside sales representative covering five counties and maintaining new business as well as existing customers. David is a very active delegate with the Chatsworth-Murray County Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies are, hunting, fishing, and boating.


 

November's Delegate of the Month

Dolley Flood

Dolly Flood has been employed with the City of Chatsworth since September of 1994. She began working as the secretary for the fire and building departments and worked there until May of 2007, and currently holds the position of City Zoning Administrator and Flood Plan Administrator.

Dolly loves helping and meeting new people, she is excited about her position with the city, and being a Chamber Delegate.

She was raised in Murray County and her mother’s family is from here. Her Father was originally from Kingsport Tn., since most of Dolly’s family lives in Tennessee, many of her trips are to visit them.

 Dolly loves her community; she enjoys music, traveling, and visits with family and friends. She is the mother of two wonderful girls, Jordan and Halie. She loves being active in her community.
